Private Studio Close to Tahoe City

This is a beautiful studio above our garage with a private entrance, full kitchen, hardwood floors, and sky lights that give it a bright open feeling. The queen bed is located in the comfortable loft, you are welcome to use the blow up queen mattress if you need extra sleeping space. Keep in mind there is a steep ladder (shown in picture) to get to the sleeping loft. We supply games, books, a DVD player with videos. Our Neighborhood is located just 2 miles from Tahoe City where there are plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from. We are just a couple blocks away from the Tahoe City Nordic center which has many beautiful cross country ski and snow shoeing trails. Lake Tahoe is just a short distance away. If you are coming to ski at one of the local mountains we are only a 15 min drive to Squaw, Alpine Meadows, Homewood and Northstar. If you are coming in the summer months we are just a short drive to many beautiful beaches on Lake Tahoe. There is hiking and mountain biking close by. You can get on the bike path and ride to town and along the Truckee river. We are a family of 5 with three daughters and we have lived in our home for 17 years. We enjoy skiing, hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, and biking in Tahoe. We can help you discover why we think living here is paradise!

I don’t believe it’s outdated as some reviews state, it’s a Tahoe home that is not modern but cozy. Placer County tax 10%

Cozy little ski studio, just steps from Northstar Village and lifts. No need to drive. Full access to gym, hot tubs, shuttle service, etc. Has kitchen, deck with BBQ, fireplace, cable, wifi and washer/dryer. Pull out ottoman and queen bed could accomodate a small family, but it would be a little "cozy." Ideal for 2-3 guests. Recently remodeled with dual lounge chairs and a Murphy bed.

Cozy Kirkwood Loft

Ski-in to our cozy loft at Kirkwood overlooking the meadow, and warm yourself by the wood-fired stove! 800 feet to Timber Creek Lodge - less than a 5 minute walk, or take the free shuttle.
