Your host Barbara has lived in the area her whole life and can share her knowledge with you easily as she lives on site. Centrally located in the township it is an easy 5 minute walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. There is shared free parking with easy access to your private self contained living area.

The Cottage @ Hedges is an easy 10 minute drive from the centre of Ballarat. The cottage sits within a pretty country garden about 20 metres from my home on a small rural property. Close to parklands, Lake Wendouree, art galleries, wineries and lots of great cafes and restaurants. The Ballarat-Skipton Railtrail is just 300 metres away - perfect for quiet country walks and cyclists. It is comfortable inside and out with plenty of shady spots to sit in the garden.

Situated in the main street you are a short stroll from the wonderful food and hospitality of the Farmers Arms Hotel and the Ice-cream and Lolly shop. Blackwood is a one-bedroom cottage set on Gadubanud country, just a 5 minute drive from Lorne town. The cottage provides a place to unwind and enjoy all that the local area has to offer – beaches, bush walks, waterfalls, eateries/bars and cellar doors to name a few. Blackwood offers all of this at its doorstep while providing a sanctuary for rest and relaxation in a beautiful bush setting.

Shearer’s Cottage at Cambus Glen Highlands

Situated on our 170 acre farm “Cambus Glen” near the settlement of Framlingham in South-West Victoria, the Shearers’ Cottage is a fully renovated sheep shearers accommodation. The Scottish name “Cambus Glen” means valley where a twisting river passes - this refers to our 3km of Hopkins River frontage – Scottish because the farm is home to our small fold (or herd) of Highland Cattle.
