Located against the dramatic backdrop of the Wolkberg Mountains, our rustic and cozy wooden treehouse cabin is the perfect secluded spot in nature. Just 15km out of Haenertsberg, and directly on the R528, it is perfect for a weekend of relaxation or adventuring on the mountain. Fall asleep to the sounds of the Groot Letaba river and wake up to bird calls from our resident Green Turaco. The diverse local fauna attracts significant bird life - making the panoramic view perfect for bird watching.

Rondebossie: Restful Farm Family Retreat

Beautiful farm experience with breathtaking sunsets. The space is comfortable, well equipped and newly renovated, it consists of a large lounge area, dining room and kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 of these share a full bathroom with a shower and 1 of these has its own en suite bathroom with a luxurious bath. There is a patio overlooking indigenous bush, waterfall and a lake. A great feature of the property is its location, centrally situated near the main road and numerous wedding venues.

“Verkijken Cottage": birders delight- indigenous

With unrivaled, stunning views of the Iron Crown and Wolkberg mountains, Verkijken Cottage sits on a high hilltop. It looks down on Indigenous Bush which is unique. Within 500m of the cottage you see and hear forest birds found in the Woodbush. Birdwatchers are in for a treat as the gardens are visited by Knysna Turaco, Double-collared Sunbird, Chorister robin - chat, Cinnamon dove, Rameron Pigeon, Red eyed dove and more. There are the rare species such as Samango monkey, duiker and bushbuck.

The Watermill Cabin

Nestled among ancient pines, the 50-year-old cabin stands on the banks of the Broederstroom River, overlooking a magical waterfall. A 2km gravel road drive from Haenertsburg. ( Accessible to most cars, not sports cars) will bring you to the charming cabin. A double story with the bedroom on the first floor ( mind the steps) and the fully self-catering living space and bathroom, downstairs. A few feet from the cabin, you will have your own private deck with braai facilities. Enjoy!

The Loft is an exclusive romantic hideaway, perfect for honeymooners or those celebrating a special occasion. It is a luxuriously appointed suite hidden in the forest with exquisite views over the forest and dam. This enchanting space features a bedroom, stylish living area, fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom as well as a private deck. The king size 4 poster bed, high ceilings, French shutters and roaring fireplace create the perfect ambiance for those who want to get away from it all.

Penzhorn Rest Cottage

This modern two-sleeper cottage is nestled in the heart of the bush along the Olifants River just 25km outside Hoedspruit. This "Peace" of Africa brings tranquillity with the soothing river and daily presence of various buck, birds and occasional sightings of hippo's and crocodile. Enjoy the custom-built "Bos Bad" to cool down or heat up (with a coal stove) overlooking a stunning river view, uninterrupted bush, beautiful sunsets, a starlit sky and the Milky Way at night.

Olivia's Secret is a very special place. It is designed specifically for the romantic at heart who need to escape city life and chill out in a cosy environment with breathtaking views and all conveniences. The cottage sleeps two, with a well equipped kitchen, braai area, wood fired fireplace and private pool. There is a gravel road, 2.5km, which gets quite bumpy, especially in the rainy season, so a high ground clearance vehicle is highly recommended.

The lodge nestles in an evergreen forest. It gives a feeling of anticipation for fairies and other woodland creatures to welcome you. The forest gives complete privacy. It's a place where visitors can feel at one with nature. Bird parties visit and samango monkeys forage in the trees. The Log Cottage sleeps four guests. There are short walks along the mountain stream and you can see picturesque waterfalls

Couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups will have a great time. We can host 10 guests but can accommodate extra 2 people at an extra cost.
