The Widow's Cottage Kilshane.

Take it easy at this unique & tranquil getaway. The Widow's cottage is a terraced cottage in the countryside built in the 1800's on the then Kilshane Estate in Tipperary. There are two cottages remaining out of the original three. In 2024 we started renovating & completed in April 2025. The cottages got their names the Widows' cottages as a result of labourers on the Kilshane Estate dying & their wives & kids being allowed to live in these cottages. Enjoy this beautiful cottage & countryside.

The perfect retreat for small families, friend trips, those home to visit or relocating.

O'Neill's Self Catering Cottage- close to Cashel

This lovingly restored traditional farmhouse with private courtyard is nestled on working farm in Dundrum. It is situated 12km from the famed Rock of Cashel and is centrally located for touring Ireland. There is a shop and pub 3km away and beautiful restaurants in Cashel and Tipperary town. We are in very close proximity to the Glen of Aherlow which plays host to beautiful scenery and hill walks. If traditional music is your thing then it can be found in abundance in many pubs locally.

We are located in a peaceful rural countryside setting 3 mins (by car) from Newport town, 12 mins from University of Limerick/Castletroy, 15 mins from Limerick City centre and 40 mins from Shannon Airport. Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

Aherlow Cottage

A country escape nestled on the River Aherlow, in the peaceful surroundings of the Galtee Mountains. Our 3 bedroom cottage is a stable conversion and part of our 25 acre farm. It has lots of character and atmosphere, inside and out, with the advantages of modern comfort. Take in the spectacular views of the Galtees from the cottage or put on your walking shoes and enjoy a stroll in the nearby mountains and woodlands.
