The Little Birdhouse

Its name is both a nod to Bird Island on Strangford Lough and a reflection of our aim to create a cosy nest in which guests feel snug, comfy and relaxed. A recently renovated 120 year old workers cottage, set off the main road with private parking and a large back garden that leads directly to the beach. On a high tide the sea can come within a metre or so from the bottom of the garden. Whilst the beach is a public space it is typically only utilized by the residents due to the limited access points along the shore. The perfect setting to enjoy life by the sea and explore the beautiful Ards Peninsula.
