Country Barn Conversion - Grounds of Old Corn Mill

Our Cottage is located in the picturesque Village of Harley, at the foot of the Wenlock Edge. The property is less than 5 minutes drive to Much Wenlock and close to Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Ludlow & Church Stretton -ideally placed for seeing the best bits of Shropshire. We are near to many great walks, National Trust/English Heritage locations and foodie highlights. We have lived in the County for 50+ years and are on hand to help and provide advice on where to visit & eat locally.

The Owls House

Set in the heart of the Shropshire countryside, this beautiful accredited 5 star self catering cottage is the perfect place to relax. The cottage is only 2 miles from Much Wenlock and 5 miles from the world heritage site of Ironbridge where you'll find many museums as well as canoeing, rafting and fishing on the River Severn. There are a number of walks directly from the cottage through fields and woodland. Enjoy the rustling trees and birdsong. Alternatively, kick back and enjoy the hot tub

The Old Pumping Station Broseley, Ironbridge Gorge

The Old Pumping Station provides a unique industrial look with a holiday cottage feel. Set in an idyllic location between Broseley and Ironbridge. The World famous bridge being less than a mile walk. Originally housed the pumps that supplied the water uphill to the town of Broseley. Some of the original pipework and valves have become a focal point in the conversion. Fully fitted kitchen. Double Bedroom, bathroom. Sofa bed. Dogs friendly property. Private driveway and garden. Air-conditioning.

Red House Cottage (self catering cottage)

Modern, very comfortable and very clean. Sleeps 4, double ensuite room and double/twin room also ensuite. Outside area, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. In a quiet village setting with two pubs serving food within a two minutes walk of the cottage. Free wifi, smart TV’s in bedrooms. Until recently Red House Cottage was run as a B&B but the owners decided to fit a kitchen to create a self contained cottage for self catering holidays. The cottage is on the side of our home.

Bernie’s Cottage

Bernie’s Cottage is located in the High Town on the immediate outskirts of Bridgnorth town centre, perfectly located for an easy five minute walk into town, 10 minutes to The Severn Valley Railway, Castle Walk, park and funicular railway. This quirky 18th century cottage over three floors has been totally refurbished .The two bedrooms include a spacious kingsize on the top floor and a cosy double on the middle floor. The cottage has parking for two cars and a sunny garden with seating.

Within walking distance of Much Wenlock, this peaceful detached cottage is surrounded by the beautiful Shropshire countryside. Ideal for walkers & cyclists alike the cottage offers plenty of space for you to relax & unwind. Enjoy the spectacular sunsets in the summer or during the autumn/winter months, the cottage becomes a wonderfully snug hideaway, with the woodburning stove making it the perfect place to curl up after exploring the local area. There are numerous walks directly from the cottage, up the Wrekin and in the adjacent Ercall wood. The cottage is ideally located for visiting the Ironbrige area, and the Welsh boarders. As well as being a short drive from the business centres for those travelling for work purposes.

Situated at the delightful Maws Craft Centre which was originally a Victorian Mill Tile works with art, craft and design studios situated in the Ironbridge Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Peaceful and quiet the area offering many countryside walking trails to enjoy and riverside pubs with outdoor seating and places to eat nearby. Lots to see and do, a short walk from Ironbridge offering an industrial heritage experience.
