Mapua is a charming coastal village on the edge of Tasman Bay, known for its relaxed lifestyle, creative arts scene, boutique shops, and waterfront dining at the iconic Mapua Wharf. Our home offers a modern comfortable, peaceful retreat close to it all, ideal for unwinding all year round, either in the pool or in front of the fire after a day of adventure and fun.

Suria - guest suite on semi-rural lifestyle block

Our house is on a small rural hill-top, with views over Tasman Bay. The private guest deck through the living room door leads to the shared patio, spa (winter only) and swimming pool (summer) - use by arrangement with us. There is a TV and DVD player in the Lounge which includes a small, basic Kitchenette with a kettle for coffee/tea-making, a toaster, a bar fridge, and a microwave for reheating of ready meals. No pets or children (for security and safety because of the pool).

Harakeke was built to provide a luxury self-contained private retreat for guests to enjoy the surrounding country tranquillity with some spectacular mountain views. The living room with kitchen, a bar fridge, inbuilt sound system and gas fire is designed for relaxing. The bedroom, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite with a walk-in shower designed for comfort Both rooms open out to a large deck with a Spa and outdoor dining setting with a Weber BBQ with separate outdoor fire

Inside, the studio includes a kitchenette with everything for you to make a meal if you fancy. A bathroom ensuite, a lounge and a dining nook.

Our sunny and spacious guest suite is set in a beautiful half-acre garden with access to a swimming pool, outdoor spa and Weber barbecue. It has its own entrance, accessed from a verandah, great for outdoor dining. Only a five minute walk to Richmond shops, supermarkets bars and cafes, the accommodation is centrally located to explore the National Parks, beaches, renowned mountain bike parks, vineyards and attractions of our beautiful region.

The apartment is close to Stoke shops, cafe's and there is an on site restaurant, The Brickery, a hair & beauty salon and a jewelryshop. You can enjoy the landscaped gardens and barbecue area or take a walk around Monaco to the boat jetty or use the many nearby Nelson cycle trails.
