This unique and tranquil getaway has easy access to Fairbanks. Aurora viewing right from the cabin situated on a high ridge above the colder valley of Fairbanks. The pet friendly cabin has a completely fenced in yard. Amenities include: Internet, TV, gas stove, oil heat, and large refrigerator. This is a traditional Alaskan "dry" cabin with no plumbing or running water but we supply water jugs and an outhouse is near the cabin. We strongly suggest you use a 4 wheel drive vehicle in winter.

The Fireweed lodge at Denali is spacious and clean and offers a true taste of Alaskan hospitality. Each room is nicely decorated including a refrigerator and microwave. Restaurant on site available by reservation or prior arrangements only. You are welcome to enjoy an inside screened porch as well as an outside deck in the summer months with propane BBQ and outside fire pit. Relaxation with peace and quiet and you are only a scenic 55 minute drive to the entrance of Denali National Park.

The main floor is open with a kitchen, dining, and 2 living room areas, including a fireplace and TV. Two bedrooms are on the main floor with a 700 sq ft loft bedroom open to below. Located just outside of Fairbanks, it is a perfect halfway point between Fairbanks & Denali. Nenana Is a cute historic town.
