Beautiful Otway scenery where you drift off to sleep to the sound of the ocean and wake up to gorgeous ocean views, kookaburras & kangaroos. In the heart of Victoria's Otway Ranges lies the small township of Beech Forest, and Redwoods Rest. At 500 meters above sea level, our cabins almost touch the passing clouds. Each cabin has majestic with views of lush green farmland, rain forest and onto passing ships in the Southern Ocean. While, at the bottom of our garden you’ll find the Old Beechy Rail Trail, and a secluded rain forest. By night, you can view the local glow worms or perhaps the greatest light show of all, the Milky Way.

Nordic Noir Hideaway

Welcome to Nordic Noir, your own rustic little hideaway nestled among the tree ferns. Our quirky little cabin comes complete with your own Nordic Spruce barrel sauna & spa to rejuvenate your body after exploring Forrest by bike or foot. The cabin & BBQ cabin are all yours to enjoy & are connected via a leafy walkway. MTB trails are on our doorstep, ride/walk into town in minutes or just chill & enjoy the sauna & hot tub. Read a book or just enjoy the quiet. Hot stone massage studio on site.

This 2 bedroom self-contained cottage with balcony, is attached to my owner-built bluestone home on a 5-acre piece of paradise. The Otway National Park edges the property, creating a lovely atmosphere of seclusion and peace, also enjoyed by birds and wildlife.

A fully private and self-contained loft studio offers panoramic views of the Southern Ocean and sits in amongst the Otway rainforest treetops. The property has over 10 acres to explore; an olive grove, an orchard, a mature oak forest and stunning walkways combining both pasture and native surroundings. You may even be lucky enough to meet our resident Koala! A one-of-a-kind experience awaits.

Welcome to Forrest a beautiful part of the world. Our studio is a short stroll to the town centre and a 5 min walk to the bike tracks. The studio is a part of our house which has a separate entrance and is divided by a huge deck. The studio has an open plan living and dining space with a cosy wood heater split system and fans. A small kitchen with 4 gas hotplates,microwave and fridge. Barbeque facilities are on the deck for your use and a lovely garden for relaxing .

The cottage provides a place to unwind and enjoy all that the local area has to offer – beaches, bush walks, waterfalls, eateries/bars and cellar doors to name a few. Blackwood offers all of this at its doorstep while providing a sanctuary for rest and relaxation in a beautiful bush setting.
