Experience "The Good Life" at our sweet getaway between McDade and Paige, Texas. The Snug sits on 6+ secluded acres we call Shut Inn Pharm. Swing on the screened-in porch of your private studio cabin, watch the world go by or write your next great novel. Good pups (and owners) OK. WE LIVE ON THE PROPERTY. WE KEEP BEES 🐝. 5 mins to Sherwood Forest, 45 mins to Austin and 40 mins to Round Top. The Snug is close enough to the areas' many gems, but far enough away to feel like a unique getaway

Take in the stars while toasting marshmallows at fire pit. Cast a line into the stock pond on the property (bass, catfish & crappie). Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Note: $75 Pet Fee

Our guest house is ideally located close to downtown and even closer to the Colorado River in a quaint and friendly neighborhood. Quaint & Comfy Private Guestroom & Bath.

We have a cute guest room attached to our garage adjacent our back porch. It’s a small space but has all the essentials and is super comfy! It has a full size comfy bed, a comfy chair, dresser, desk, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and 36" flat screen TV with Amazon Firestick. The bathroom has a small shower. We include lots of little extras to make your stay enjoyable. We live in the Historic area of downtown Bastrop. Our home was built in 1916 by my husband's great grandfather.
