Our hut is 22ft x 8ft, slightly larger than some with a double bed, en-suite shower-room, fold-away dining ledge & stools, snuggle sofa, smart TV, WiFi, electric heating, a wood burner & private hot tub. Our comfortable, cleverly-designed Blackdown Shepherd Hut is on a hillside, with lovely views, stretching to the Firth of Forth and beyond. You can enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, whilst in easy reach of the best Fife has to offer! Everything you need for a delicious breakfast is provided - eggs from our hens and ducks, locally-produced Puddledub bacon or veggie sausages if you prefer, bread from a local bakery, butter, jam. You'll also find coffee, tea, and milk in the Hut.

The Birder’s Bothy is on the Cateran Trail. We can arrange transport to and from any other sections of the trail.
