Kelpies Cottage is a cosy two-bed bungalow in Glentrool, the only village in Galloway Forest Dark Skies Park. It's a beautiful, peaceful, rural location. You can expect awesome starry skies, and if you're lucky, maybe even the Aurora. Glentrool is all about the outdoors, with plenty of biking, wild swimming and walking nearby. We are right in the heart of the stunning Galloway Forest and part of the UNESCO designated Biosphere, with trees, streams, lochs and mountains right on the doorstep.

The romance, splendour and variety of landscapes to be found in Galloway lies at the door of The Old Servants’ Hall. For couples or individual explorers (and dog), this beautifully restored, cosy apartment is an ideal retreat for escaping the rat race. We have a quirky vestry, suitable for 2 adults or small family, attached to a converted church on Whiting Bay seafront. The Vestry has recently been converted to a high standard. It has a super kingsize bed plus a sofa bed in the living room/kitchen area. TV, cooker, fridge, kettle and toaster. Shower room/toilet. Views from the living room look out onto the sea and it's a stones throw away from the beach. Separate entrance with garden. Free parking. Bedlinen and towels provided. Free wifi.

Immaculate 2 bed caravan with many amenities for a romantic getaway for 2, or a family of 4. Lovely decking area to enjoy the sunshine or watch many hopping bunnies!. Evening skies allow for hundreds of stars... There is a children's outdoor play area, indoor soft play and weekend bar on site (seasonal). Great location for coastal and woodland walks.

Nestled on Main Street in the picturesque village of Straiton they are just a stones throw from the local amenities. Sorry strictly no pets.

The Signal box is close to the Galloway forest, river walks, located in the quiet countryside of South Ayrshire. It is part of the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire biosphere embracing the natural environment and cultural identity of everyone working and living in the area. The cabin is ideally located for visits to the Galloway forest, Turnberry golf course, Culzean Castle, outdoor water-sports, fishing, trips to the Ailsa Craig, and The Coig tourist routes.
