The lodge is surrounded by the fabulous Shropshire hills, a mile to the nearest pub yet just 10-15 minute away from the centre of Shrewsbury. There is a private seating area outside the front of the lodge and access to the pony paddocks if you have a dog that needs a run! Next door is the Nook so why not book there to if you need more room

The Garden Room is a private, cosy, off-grid apartment that's perfect for couples in search of a quiet break or looking to explore the area. It has basic kitchen facilities along with a king size bed, a wood burning stove and a piping hot shower. We have reliable wifi, no tv and an ok mobile signal. Lovely up here this time of year and plenty of wildlife to be seen; deer in the garden, swallows zooming about, the other morning I saw two hares leaping and sparring in the front yard - just great.

It is well-equipped with a quality kitchen area, dining area and sitting area with Wi-Fi and Sky TV. The bedroom has a large double bed and plenty of storage space. There are lovely views over the fields and hills from upstairs. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet. There is also a downstairs toilet. 15% discount for 7 days+
