The Lake Front Cottage at Lake Alden

Enjoy the natural beauty of the lake from the covered porch, stone patio, or the dock. This two bedroom cottage is great for a small family getaway any time of the year! Come enjoy fishing, boating, and swimming all from your own private dock. Please note that during the winter months weather conditions can rapidly change. AWD or 4WD is recommended for winter stays. Also, occasional power outages do occur year round due to weather. During prolonged outages, generator power can be provided.

Just 3 minutes from the Lake Wallenpaupack boat launch and 5 minutes from shopping, restaurants, bars, boat tours, fantastic hiking trails, and more. At this quiet, newly renovated (2022) retreat, you can experience great fishing, incredible sunrises and sunsets, bald eagles, blue herons, deer, various birds, and other wildlife. Relax and dine on the deck or lakeside flagstone patio while enjoying crackling embers in the fire pit.

Experience our beautiful Catskills Lakefront Cottage. Paddle an SUP, kayak, canoe or rowboat. Ride a bike around the lake. Relax in the Sauna, soak in the hot tub, plunge in the cold tub. Jump off the dock, lounge on the floating swim platform, sunbathe on the deck. Make a campfire in the Solo Stove-firewood is provided! Spin vinyl on the turntable. Create in the well-equipped kitchen with Sous Vide Circulator & quality cookware. Marvel at bald eagles. Listen to coyotes and owls at night!

Canaan Country Cottage

This is a private, rustic and cozy vacation camp that has been partially modernized with an addition containing two bedrooms. The original part of the building still has that Adirondack camp feel; woodsy and camp-like, but very private. Secluded and also close to Hammond Hill State Forest with many miles of trails for mountain biking, hiking and xc-skiing. The cottage sleeps 4 to 6. We recently upgraded the internet with a fiber connection, and added a propane grill on the back deck.

Ideal for relaxing, remote work, or as base to explore the area's restaurants, trails, wineries, and more. Nestled against a wooded hillside, surrounded by trees, meadows, and marshes. Tons of birds and animals. 20-mins east of the Ithaca Commons and college campuses.

Tiny, romantic, timber frame

Unplugged (no WiFi) and peaceful. We provide breakfast foods. Unfortunately we cannot provide fresh breakfasts at this time, to keep our prices the same, with inflation. We hope to again in the future, if the current costs go down. A family built, tiny, timber frame. We are in a farming community, and several Amish farms dot our road. A short walking distance from a year-round bar and grill with a rotating seasonal menu and craft beer. Several other casual and fine dining options are located within minutes.

On Lake Time

My place is close to Montrose, a quaint historical town nestled in the Endless Mountains of Northeast Pa. Private Lake house on Lake ChrisAnn. Only a short drive (approximately 30 minutes) to Binghamton, NY and Scranton, Pa. Nearby activities include hiking at Salt Springs State Park, golf, and shopping. Also, enjoy kayaking, swimming, fishing right here on the Lake! My place is good for couples and families (with kids).
