Escape to nature in a unique way with our secluded, forest getaway. Nestled in the heart of an indigenous forest in the Garden Route, our dome offers a perfect blend of luxury and wilderness. Our Dome is beautifully designed for comfort, with the indulgent outdoor living space blending seamlessly with nature encouraging guests to reconnect, relax and rejuvenate. As much as we would love to welcome all, the setting isn't child friendly and definitely offers a more wonderful getaway for two.

Overlooking the ocean and the lagoon, nestled in a bird conservancy against a forested hill and 5 minute drive from pristine beaches and the center of Wilderness, this stylish self-catering house offers spacious living and dining spaces, a deck with a heated pool, 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and private terraces with views on the sea and the forest. The Bitou Eyrie - A cottage on the hill

Perched above the Bitou River, our newly renovated cottage offers sweeping valley views, abundant birdlife, and a true nature retreat. Just 10-15 minutes from Plettenberg Bay and its beautiful beaches and restaurants, it’s the perfect hideaway for those seeking quiet and calm in a peaceful farm setting. The area offers a wide range of outdoor activities, including mountain biking, hiking, surfing, and kayaking, while Plett’s many restaurants and wine farms are all within a short drive.

The Art Barn

Reconnect with nature in the forest oasis and former art studio of South African artist and fashion designer, Harvey Rothchild. Situated on the Garden Route amid rolling farmlands and natural forest, the Art Barn is located a mere 15 minute drive from Knysna and 20 minutes from Buffels Bay. The converted art studio is an open plan designed to capture the soft forest light as it filters through the trees, and to provide the occupants with breathtaking views of the surrounding forest.

Forest Hills - Sagewood Cottage

Sagewood Cottage is a very spacious apartment for 2 people. The bedroom has a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom and a large lounge, dining room and kitchen. All the rooms look out onto the forested valley and mountains beyond. There is a pool a short distance from the house and easy walks on the property where one can explore a bit of the forest. Forest Hills is a 15 minute drive away from Knysna and Buffalo Bay and 10 minutes away from the national forest.

Luna on the Knysna lagoon in Old Belvidere

Bellevue is a contemporary rustic house situated on the edge of the Knysna Lagoon in Old Belvidere. The house combines a passion for architecture and eclectic design with a tranquil setting and spectacular views. We implore to our guests to keep it tranquil and peaceful. Luna is the main 3 bedroom house with its own private living area, dining area and kitchen. On the second floor is a self catering apartment which might be occupied by other guests.

Rise and Shine Mountain Cabin, Wilderness Heights

Surrounded by fynbos bush and the sound of birds, you will have a unique nature experience and wake up to the INCREDIBLE views of the majestic Outeniqua mountain range shining in front of you! We are a simple, off the grid set up so do not expect luxury but rather the simple pleasures and nature in all its glory. Our property is a work in progress. We dream of creating a sustainable space by restoring our land and respecting nature in the process.

Goose cottage, situated in a fynbos estate.

Self catering, fully equipped large cottage with top end appliances and luxury bathroom. Very private, with gorgeous views of the Knysna lagoon. Guests will enjoy sleeping on beautiful queen slay bed with Egyptian cotton bedding, and a single bed. Kitchen has gas hob and microwave. Lots of private parking and close to town and eating spots. Camp cot available. Goose cottage is off the grid, so during loadshedding we are fully functional.

Forest Heart Cabin: Slipper Bath & Fireplace

Forest Heart Cabin is the perfect getaway. It is private and quiet, with a breath-taking view of the Knysna forest. If you're looking for a romantic getaway, champagne on the deck when you arrive and watch the sun rise over the mountains in the morning or soak in the luxurious slipper bath at sunset! The Cabin is ideally located and a 10-15 minute drive to Knysna, as well as the gorgeous Buffalo Bay Beach and a number of forest walks.
