Tullydowey Gate Lodge

Situated beside the village of Blackwatertown on the border between counties Tyrone and Armagh. Tullydowey Gate Lodge is a Grade B1 listed property built in 1793. Restoration of the gate lodge was completed in 2019 and undertaken with the utmost regard for the history of the building with many of the existing 18th century features sympathetically maintained whilst providing the comforts of 21st century living in a traditional country cottage style turning it once again into a real eye catcher.

Steeped in 100’s of years of history, and home place of the foundation of the Orange Lodge, (LOL 1 is a stones throw away), we have a stunning, peaceful home nestled amid rolling hills, a stream and ancient orchards. Our 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home has a large family kitchen and living area, a reading room, a sitting room, utility and storage. This bespoke spacious cabin is 40ft and newly built. It is sited with its own hot tub and outdoor area in the countryside. It offers stunning views from the hot tub and walking distance to both Tullynawood fishing lake and Darkley lake. We are approximately 3 miles to Keady town and 30 minutes to Armagh city. Located near the Monaghan boarder and part of the Monaghan walking path. 1 hour to Belfast 1.5 hours to Dublin
