Mountain Creek Lodge is a full house accommodation with two bedrooms and two baths. It can sleep up to six with our Queen size Futon. Full kitchen access with a snack and coffee bar provided. Our cottage is set in the corner of a 100 acre mostly wooded tract in rural Floyd County. The site is open, but surrounded by mature trees. You will enjoy the quiet private setting. Our cottage is good for couples and small families. The Town of Floyd, six miles away, hosts restaurants, a coffee shop, and gift shops. The Floyd Country Store hosts the renowned Friday Night Jamboree featuring local bluegrass, while other restaurants host a variety of music on weekends and during the week.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone.
