The property is tucked away in a sought after cove location on the grounds of Porthilly Farm, just a short walk across the beach to Rock. This charming little gem is an idyllic coastal getaway perfect for romantic breaks, taking it easy by the sea or for adventurous getaways alike. We run a working dairy and shellfish farm and our oysters & mussels are grown in the estuary.

The light and airy open plan living and dining room is a wonderful space to socialise with your group, with patio doors leading out to the back garden, allowing in the sounds of nature from the nearby fields. Porthilly Cove and Rock beach are both within walking distance, along with pubs and restaurants.

All the shops are just a few yards away including a general store, coffee shop, bakery, butchers, fishmonger, delicatessen, and newsagent. The property is all on one level and consists of three bedrooms, two with ensuite bathrooms and a family bathroom. The large open plan lounge. It has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area seating 6 people.

Welcome to our home from home. We come here as often as we can to get outdoors, splash in the sea, or sit in the pub and play games with the kids. Please make yourself comfortable and help yourself reasonably to anything you may need to use, i.e. toys, games, water sports equipment - Stand up Paddleboards. Parking for 2 family sized cars. (It’s tight but it works) The house is pet and human friendly. We truly hope you’ll enjoy your stay in Port Gaverne (Port Issac) North Cornwall.

Cowslip Cottage is a traditional 19th Century stone property at Botelet Farm. The garden is surrounded by a patchwork of meadows, with far reaching views down the valley towards Fowey and up to the iron age hill fort of Bury Down. The Tamblyn family have farmed, nurtured & styled the farm for 159 years, three generations live here today. Therapeutic massage available in our on-site treatment room.
