Beach House with Jacuzzi Overlooking the Ocean

This self-catering, beach facing home is spread over two stories and 185 square meters. The home is equipped with a beautiful covered deck with uninterrupted views of the crystal blue waters of False Bay. Amenities include on-site laundry facilities with a washing machine, air-conditioning in every bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen with dish washer. Guests have full run of the entire property. I love entertaining and sharing my home. I will ensure that there is someone to welcome you and answer any questions you may have. This will either be me or my son Troy. We're only a SMS or (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) away and will respond promptly to any questions you may have. Gordons Bay is a picturesque seaside village situated between beautiful mountain ranges and the famous False Bay coast. There are many excellent restaurants and pubs. It's an easy drive to Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl, and the Cape Winelands. Daily maid service is provided every 2nd day of your stay (excludes Sunday and public holidays).

Veldhuis The art of living in nature

Bordering Brodie Link Reserve, close to Silversands beach, you will find Veldhuis. Designed by critical regionalist Raymond Smith, it reflects an authentic sense of place. Spacious, soulful, yet playful, Veldhuis embraces the art of living within nature in a secluded garden with lovely views of Kogelberg in northeast and Blesberg in the southwest. Let your seasonal spirit savour summertime swims in the lap pool or cozying up in front of the fireplace with one of the good reads on the bookshelf.

Rocky Bay on the View

Our self catering holiday home within the unique and tranquil Steenbras Nature Reserve. With solar power, a fully equipped kitchen, air-con, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Enjoy the view of False Bay while watching dolphins and whales frolic in the waves and the seals lie sleepily on the rocks. A birdwatchers delight. Enjoy activities such as cycling, hiking, sun bathing, and swimming. Also close by, visit famous wine farms and enjoy their wine tastings. A real escape from the hustle and bustle.

Thalassa, rustic ocean-front haven of calm

Soulful, rustic family home, built by us in 1986. Perfect to enjoy Betty's Bay coastline, the sea views, the wind, the dramatic sunsets, candlelit evenings and the sound of the waves to put you to sleep. 50m from the front beach. Walking distance to the breath-taking Silversands Beach. 3min drive to the penguin colony. 10min drive to Botanical gardens. 20min drive to Palmiet river swimming and hiking. Thalassa has soul and many happy moments have been spent here in this idyllic haven.

Bayview

Relax and unwind! Enjoy endless 180 degree views of False Bay and mountains - you might even spot dolphins or whales! Indulge in sundowners on the north-facing veranda with built-in braai sheltered from the elements. The house is equipped with a combustion fireplace ensuring cozy winter nights, mini inverter, WIFI, smart TV as well as a DSTV dish (bring your own decoder). Easy walk to the beach and village. NOTE the house next door is under construction but the views are not affected.

Classic Beach House - Sea views & Spacious comfort

This is the quintessential beach house. Wooden structure, large deck with sea and mountain views and surrounded by fynbos. 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large open plan living space that is light and comfortable. The house is well equipped with an indoor wood burning fireplace & electric blankets . There is plenty of cutlery, crockery, glassware & other kitchen essentials including a food processor, French press and a Bialetti espresso coffee maker. There is a Weber Braai.

The upstairs offers spectacular ocean views with a big open plan bathroom. Downstairs is the perfect setting for dinners around the dining table leading onto the open plan kitchen. The downstairs double bedrooms share a bathroom and the front bedroom has beautiful sea views. While the downstairs deck is great for sundowners. Situated 45 minutes from Cape Town’s city centre.

Misty Cliffs Work and Surf

Please DM for available dates! Enjoy stunning sea views, peaceful nature and a refined yet homely interior. Watch glowing sunsets or whales and dolphins and the romantic mist over the cliffs with the sound of waves as your constant backdrop. Relax by the fireplace in the spacious double‑storey lounge, cook in a fully equipped open‑plan kitchen and work with fast fibre and a “ready‑to‑plug‑in” office. Thundering Waves is a beautifully positioned house, with wonderful views of the mountains on the one side and breaking waves on the other. You will love the new bathrooms and the modern kitchen which flows into lots of living space. A stones throw to the beach on one side and uninterrupted mountain views from the wooden deck and outside braai on the other side, the feel of the house is just 'beachy'. 100 m walk to the beach and a short stroll to beautiful Bass Lake.

Grace - a Cape Cod-style family home in Rooi-Els

Welcome to Grace, our family home in Rooi-Els. Grace is a 2-bedroom, Cape Cod style double storey house with stunning sea and mountain views. Enjoy the light, airy open-plan living space upstairs with a well-equipped kitchen, an 8-seater dining room table, and comfortable lounge. Two double doors open out onto the balcony which runs the whole length of the house and is protected from the sun, the wind and the baboons – essential as you’ll discover in Rooi-Els!

Familie Huis

Familie Huis is a much loved family home overlooking a river wetland and surrounded by pristine fynbos. A central feature of the wonderfully spacious downstairs area is a huge inside hearth for roaring fires (or to braai or cook). It's an absolutely brilliant house for winter getaways - warm and cosy (and also great for families with small children). Its perfectly situated - a five minute walk to the beach as well as all village amenities.
