There’s a Bald Eagle that often perches in a nearby waterfront tree looking for fish. If you’re patient enough, you can see him swoop down and grab one! A train does pass by a couple of blocks away on occasion and sounds its horn, so light sleepers may need a white noise app or provided fan. Non smoking/clean air property.

Welcome to our cozy cabin! We are just off I-29 in northern Missouri between St. Joseph and Platte City.  Our property is 21 acres and includes a yard of 6 acres and fields and a wooded area. There is a kitchenette with the necessary essentials and a small bath with a shower, sink and toilet. There is NO Wi-Fi so you can unplug and relax; however, we do have good cell phone signals. * If you are a traveling nurse with a contract, contact us and we can work with you on your stay length. *

The house is perfect for a family friendly stay. No one under 25 year of age can book with us

It includes exclusive use of the tiny home and also a lot of room outdoors on the working 10 acre riverfront farm. Lots of sand, grass and open area outside, no wifi. Feel free to bring poles and fish, have bonfires and smores, hangout and enjoy the outdoors at this pet friendly place.
