Located in the unspoilt pretty cornish village of St Mawgan close to the sea at Mawgan Porth for a morning dip, this fairy tale grade 2 listed early 18th century cottage is a 'surf and turf' retreat. Perfect for a romantic break or family escape Old Lanvean cottage is perfect for short and longer breaks. With two gorgeous bedrooms, cosy living space and a fully equipped kitchen, you'll have everything you need. There's also a gorgeous enclosed garden to relax, and ideal if you have dogs.

Rural Retreat outside Mawgan Porth

Little Forge is a one bedroom stone annexe attached to our home. It's in a peaceful rural location. There is a courtyard garden, gated parking (shared with us), king size bed, roll top bath, shower and fully equipped kitchen. It’s a 10 min drive to gorgeous Mawgan Porth beach, pub and shops, 15 min drive to Padstow. Please note you will need a car: shops, beaches, etc are not within walking distance. The property is not step free externally or internally. We are happy to accept one dog.

Mawgan Porth Home with a view of the beach (small)

Beach house situated behind the dunes of Mawgan Porth. One bedroom with a king-size bed and a large day bed in the entrance room. Would suit small family, couple or a small group of friends for a surf/walking trip. Upstairs has an open-plan living and kitchen area with balcony. Ground level has a lovely decking area with dining table, an outdoor shower (cold water), a fridge for chilled outdoor drinks and a hammock for guest use. Perfect for surfing and beach activities. Garden Lodge, St Mawgan between Padstow & Newquay

The Garden Lodge is situated in the grounds of Mourton House, in the Cornish countryside village of St Mawgan. The lodge has recently been updated with a new kitchen and bathroom. It is located in a beautiful tranquil position a 2 mile well worn wooded footpath takes about 35 minutes to walk to Mawgan Porth beach. The delightful harbour town of Padstow is 8.4 miles distance, with its quaint shops a plenty of places to eat. Newquay is 6.2 miles from the Lodge.
