Welcome to our cosy little bothy by the sea. Carrick Shore is a wonderful place, with a lovely, sheltered beach, amazing views and spectacular sunsets, right on the doorstep. This is the perfect compromise between a cottage and a glamping pod! It's tiny, but timeless, with the emphasis on comfort and relaxation. Studio, Courtyard Cottage, Knockbrex, Borgue

This unique studio is part of a house on a charming old stable block surrounded by idyllic countryside. Situated on a private estate which was split up in the 50's, located on the shores of the Solway Firth. It is cosy and rustic with genorous proportions, a well equipped kitchen and a wood burning stove. We are close to stunning beaches and mountains with lots of local activities and amazing walks. We have a small garden with a picnic bench for alfresco entertaining, weather permitting!

You know your holiday has begun as soon as you arrive at Carrick Shore. It's beautiful sea views and restful atmosphere create a holiday to remember. Tucked away on the beautiful Galloway Coast in the South West of Scotland, this delightful pine chalet has all the comforts for a relaxed break. Set in its own grounds, this chalet is part of a group of beach houses, a stones throw from the sea. You just need to step out onto the decking to enjoy the views and interact with the local wildlife.

Burnbrae Byre

Truly luxurious holiday accommodation in a tastefully converted byre, set in a tranquil, rural location, but ideally located for all that the south- west has to offer. The cottage is beautifully presented with hard wood floors and finishes throughout, including a wood-burning stove in the spacious living room, sumptuous beds chosen for their quality and comfort, and fully equipped to make a superb holiday cottage. Completely self-contained with its own private entrance and outdoor space, it offers peace, privacy and relaxation. The light-filled bedroom sits within the eaves and features large Velux windows with sea views, perfect for stargazing beneath the dark skies of Sandgreen. Just a short stroll from the beach and coastal walks, ideal for couples and their four-legged friend.

Carrick Shore, Coastal home private entry to beach

Spacious beach house with private enclosed garden, ample parking area with private access down to the beach. Well equipped for family life. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. TV and Wifi. Plenty of games and books etc for the young ones. Carrick Bay has plenty of opportunities to fish, swim, walk, cycle, sail, canoe, windsurf or paddle board. Or of course just chill with a cold drink and stargaze. Friday check in, 3 night minimum booking in winter months and minimum 7 days from April to November.

The Lairds Bothy at Knockbrex Castle

Visitors to this wonderful area can stay within the grounds of Knockbrex Castle. The area is a walkers and biking paradise and just a short walk (5-10 minutes) to various beaches. Travel a little to sample the delights in the local area like the chocolate of the Cocoabean Company. Enjoy a walk to the local pubs for lunch at Gatehouse of Fleet or Borgue. For a special evening meal The Ship Inn at Gatehouse of Fleet has lovely locally produced food. car essential, no public transport.

Rural retreat with fabulous panoramic views

Netherthird is a stunning detached farmhouse set in a wonderfully elevated position, with the most glorious views of the surrounding Galloway Hills. Netherthird was fully renovated in 2020 and has been lovingly furnished to ensure a truly comfortable and welcome family retreat. There is an amazing barbecue hut, with charcoal barbecue and ample seating, perfect for enjoying with friends and a glass or two of wine. Relax in the large hot tub taking in the clear dark skies at night.
