Terra Firma - 1850s Fleurieu Cottage

Take a step back in time. Built in 1850, this cottage was once occupied by the very Caffreys after whom our street is named. The cottage is structurally identical to how those European settlers would have inhabited it. The thick walls are fantastic for keeping both the summer heat and winter cold out. Workers, holiday-makers, and day-trippers have come through this place, each having left their own little mark. And hopefully, the soul of this place will make a bit of an imprint on you too.

Recently refurbished, the cottage is white and light and full of charm. Enjoy a bbq in the private garden or cosy up to a lounge room fire while enjoying that red wine you just purchased in nearby Mclaren Vale or Adelaide Hills. You will be so comfortable you will wish you had booked for a longer stay. The Nook awaits to greet you!
