Wendale Barn is a beautifully renovated, compact, detached building, the perfect place to relax on the edge of Cheddar. With private patio, decking & stunning views of the local lake & Glastonbury Tor. Private, romantic, the ideal getaway, with a double bed upstairs & sofa-bed in the living room; although it is open plan, so the shared space isn’t private. Access is via a series of steps up the hillside, some garden terraces are up to 1.1m high without guardrails, there is also a shallow pond.

Wren's Nest, studio in wildlife friendly garden

Located in a small hamlet, close to Cheddar, Wren's Nest was designed by an artist as a rural retreat in a tranquil location. The accommodation has a light, airy feel and has been thoughtfully created in a contemporary style with quirky, personal touches. It is located at the end of our wildlife friendly garden. There is a designated area with table and chairs in front of the studio. A pizza oven is available to use on request. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement with the owner.

Right on the edge of nature reserves this is perfect for cyclists and bird watchers. In the winter months you can witness the famous murmurations. The Piggery - a tranquil, stand alone cabin

The Piggery is a tranquil, stand-alone wood-cabin in the beautiful Somerset countryside. Ideal for short breaks for those who want somewhere quiet and like to get out and about. Situated on our organic small-holding, it has a kingsize bed, ensuite, a TV, wifi and kitchennette facilities - kettle, microwave, fridge. We're 8 mins from the M5, with Taunton, Glastonbury, Street and Wells a few miles drive. Our village has a pub that serves excellent food and a convenience store 2 miles away.

Situated on a quiet lane yet just a couple of minutes walk from the vibrant village centre of Wedmore with its pubs, shops and restaurants, Rose Cottage is the perfect place to unwind. Further afield, Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury and the sea are all within easy reach. We are pleased to offer our refurbished conversion which in its previous life was an open barn, pig sty and engine house. It has been updated to provide a comfortable setting suitable for a relaxing getaway. Guests have their own entrance hall, large sitting room with wood burner, snug, dining room, and fully fitted kitchen. Spacious bedroom with shower room. There is a private outside seating area and garden, but you may choose to explore the open countryside which is all around.

The Potting Shed is part of the original Gardners Buildings of a large country house. Beautifully updated to provide a truly snug and romantic place to stay. A log burner is the focal point of the lounge/living area as well as exposed wooden beams and stonework. Wifi, Smart TV and all you will need for a memorable get away. Homestead West Wing is a self contained luxury accommodation in a beautiful 1840 country house. Close to easy travel links with a bus stop a short walk away, but a quiet secluded setting with lovely gardens, paddocks and stables with friendly equine residents including Bluey the miniature pony. Accommodation comprises breakfast room, kitchen with air fryer, hob and combo microwave oven, shower room and 25sqm bedroom / lounge with open log fire. Storage for bikes etc available.
