Cobblers Cottage is an old cottage in the farming community of Sliddery overlooking the Mull of Kintyre in the Southwest of the Island of Arran. Originally it was the shoemakers cottage in the village, along with the blacksmith, butcher, joiners, bakers, grocers, post office and a school. These days Sliddery consists mostly of houses and farms with one hardware shop called Sliddery Supplies which stocks all sorts for homes, farms and gardens.
No 1 Shedock Cottage has been completely renovated inside and out, originally a shepherds cottage it is now a very modern living space. The entrance leads into the living room with a kitchen extension to the rear this follows onto a private sitting area outside at the back of the cottage. The bedroom has a double bed with fitted wardrobe. There is a bath and shower in the bathroom next to the bedroom. Heating throughout the cottage is electric with flame effect fire in the living room.
Rose Cottage is a peaceful private home offering a king size bed or twin beds. Now with entry to a bathroom size ensuite, complete with a bath for a deep soak after a day of walking! We are close to the centre of Lamlash for shops, pubs and the beach (5 mins walk) and are conveniently situated on the main road and the bus route.
