The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

Our attached home Annexe (small bungalow) was built to a high standard four years ago (2016) and is located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac located about 20 minutes walk from Kendal centre along the old canal cycle way. The facility comprises:-OWN ENTRANCE , lounge/kitchenette,shower room, double bedroom , dressing 2nd bedroom , off road adjacent parking , dedicated private outdoor space and a secure area for cycles. We are ideally suited for trips to the Lakes, Morecambe Bay and the Dales.

We are close to the coast and the location is perfect for walkers, being tucked away on the Lancashire coastal way footpath. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Our modern cabin is set in our ten acre small holding close to the south Cumbria beaches and southern Lake District. Relax and enjoyed our cabin, it’s deck and hot tub or sit in the orchard and watch our hens. During winter when our smallholding settles down awaiting spring it’s a great base to explore the area. You will be the only guests and have the ten peaceful acres to yourself. You may bring One dog for a small fee.

Croft Farm Shepherd's Hut, Hardraw, Pennine Way

Spend a night in Hardraw, in the Yorkshire Dales. This wonderfully crafted shepherds hut is located on a working farm, with sheep, cattle, hens and pigs. Also, home to the local working sheepdog demonstration team. Located in a small village on the Pennine Way; the renowned Hardraw force, England's highest waterfall is a 5 minute stroll. The Green Dragon Inn is less than 5 minutes walk. The small market town of Hawes is a 20 minute walk, with plenty of shops and pubs.

The Orchards Cottage, Kendal, Lake District.
