Riverside Cottage

Find your home away from home in our quaint cottage nestled between the River Barrow and The Grand Canal. Take a stroll or cycle along the famous 46km stretch of The Barrow Blueway or cast your fishing rod into the world of coarse fishing on the Grand Canal. Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

Villa Jokubas The Jungle

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. Be treated with all modern luxuries inside and outside, enjoy expansive yard, covered patio areas with private modern hot tubs, "Kamado" BBQ grills, fully stocked bar with taps of our home brewed IPA beer. We charge €25 for hottub or sauna for one use. One Drink Included.

Cosy Loft in the Trees

This gorgeous little hut is tucked into the upper corner of a hay barn and has the cosy feel of a treehouse. Set in a peaceful rural spot overlooking open fields, it offers a real sense of escape. Although close to other buildings where we live, it is completely private. Access is via two short flights of sturdy steps leading to a balcony. Kilkenny city is a 20-minute drive away, but a car is essential as there is no public transport. An ideal place to retreat and unwind.

Cozy Stone Cottage Annex

A delightfully converted early 18th century historic dwelling, Gasbrook House Annexe provides cosy, self-contained living nestled in a peaceful village just east of the Slieve Bloom Mountains. This comfortable spot is perfect for a relaxing getaway, romantic break, or well earned rest and is an ideal base for exploring all the midlands has to offer. Surrounded by beautiful nature reserves this cozy space is devoted to peace and relaxation and a haven for nature lovers.

The Loft @ Poppy Hill

The Loft @ Poppy Hill is a cosy self contained unit close to a family house with fantastic views of Mount Leinster. It is 2km from the village of Ballindaggin and a super location to soak up the countryside and explore the treasures of Wexford and beyond. Located in the foothills of Mount Leinster, it is well suited for hill walkers, star gazers and those who want to feel the country atmosphere. The village has 2 pubs, one serving the best curry in Wexford.

Suitable for race goers, shopaholics or those seeking a relaxing break in the countryside close to walks and a cosy pub. Families with young children are most welcome. We can provide a range of baby/toddler equipment on request and a spacious garden for your enjoyment.

The fact that we are in The Midlands, makes it's the perfect location to visit other counties from, as everywhere is within only a few hours drive. “The Barn” is a beautifully restored 19th century building beside our Farm house, finely furnished for your comfort. Enjoy an Emperor size, bed dressed in luxury cottons. Although “The Barn” is private I'm always on hand. Nestled snugly on our farm at the end of a country lane, surrounded by gardens & lush countryside. Walk the towpaths of Borris, venture up Mt Leinster, enjoy the quaint pubs of Clonegal. Kilkenny City is a must.
