The Stables is a luxury, double story guest house which is intimately positioned between the horse stables and paddock. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and comfortably sleeps 4 persons. Just 15km out of Haenertsberg, and directly on the R528, it is perfect for a weekend of relaxation or adventuring on the mountain. Fall asleep to the sounds of the Groot Letaba river and wake up to bird calls from our resident Green Turaco. The diverse local fauna attracts significant bird life - making the panoramic view perfect for bird watching.

“Verkijken Cottage": birders delight- indigenous

With unrivaled, stunning views of the Iron Crown and Wolkberg mountains, Verkijken Cottage sits on a high hilltop. It looks down on Indigenous Bush which is unique. Within 500m of the cottage you see and hear forest birds found in the Woodbush. Birdwatchers are in for a treat as the gardens are visited by Knysna Turaco, Double-collared Sunbird, Chorister robin - chat, Cinnamon dove, Rameron Pigeon, Red eyed dove and more. There are the rare species such as Samango monkey, duiker and bushbuck.

Lekkerbos 7-sleeper all-wheel-drive access only

The Watermill Cabin

Nestled among ancient pines, the 50-year-old cabin stands on the banks of the Broederstroom River, overlooking a magical waterfall. A 2km gravel road drive from Haenertsburg. ( Accessible to most cars, not sports cars) will bring you to the charming cabin. A double story with the bedroom on the first floor ( mind the steps) and the fully self-catering living space and bathroom, downstairs.
