Boat access to our private dock may not be possible at this time as water levels fluctuate and are beyond our control.

Our Watauga Lake front home is a perfect vacation getaway, located at the end of a point, the large deep water dock is ideal for year round boating and water sports. Conveniently located, we are within the quaint town of Butler and close to restaurants, small country stores and Cove Ridge Marina. Although Watauga Lake is our main attraction, we are near a number of waterfalls, hiking trails, mountain biking trails and the shopping areas surrounding the Tri-Cities and Boone, NC.

Walk down the steps and jump in the 3rd cleanest lake in the country! Paddle our 17ft Canoe or 2 kayaks, view bald eagles or explore 105 miles of national forest. Then relax by the outdoor firepit to end your day with views of the sunset.

Cozy cabin! Magnificent views from all rooms! Experience the magic of the mountains! Two spacious bedrooms with walk-in closets, each with its own bathroom provides plenty of privacy for guests. (Split bedroom plan) Both bedrooms have a French door leading to the deck, delighting your visual senses with the serenity and majesty of the mountains. The living room has a French door leading to the deck as well.

The Overlook is a modern double A-frame at Blue Morning, designed for family gatherings, long mountain views, and slower High Country evenings.
