The Lodge at Willen Farm is a beautiful single level converted barn on the outskirts of the quiet village of Leigh, just 4 miles from the town of Sherborne in Dorset. The Lodge provides the perfect location for a relaxing escape to the rural countryside, yet just 40 minutes from the fabulous Jurassic coastline. Ford Mead Studio ( ‘meadow by the ford’) is a comfortable, spacious apartment on the first floor of a delightful stone barn. A perfect getaway for couples and solo travellers, it can also adapt for a family. The barn is next door to our lovely c.15th Grade II thatched cottage, in the village of Chetnole, with its award-winning pub and c.13th church. You are surrounded by beautiful countryside and next to the cobbled ford that crosses the River Wriggle, with views across fields to the village.

This stylishly converted old dairy has oak and beams and flooring and has beautiful far reaching views west towards Lyme Regis . It is perfect the perfect base for exploring this part of the beautiful Jurassic-coast, browsing around the Georgian market town of Bridport, fossiling in Lyme Regis and walking in the West Dorset’s Area Of Outstanding Beauty. Relax in the evening light out in the garden area looking over the fields and woods. Picnic is in the woodland with the bbq provided .
