My place is a historic limestone building with a loft, located on my family farm. One mile away from the interstate and 6 miles north of Ellsworth, you’ll love its convenience as much as its coziness, history, and quaint charm. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers that are looking for a unique experience in the country that isn't too far off the beaten path. This is a private building near the main farmhouse with its own living space, kitchenette, bathroom, and loft bedroom (queen).

Quiet place on the edge of town pet friendly

Quiet area with a lot of area around the property to park vehicles or boats. 5 acres around the house if your pets need to stretch their legs. Located 8 miles from wilson lake if you enjoy boating, swimming , fishing, or just enjoy being around the lake. Nice local cafe, and service station with a small grocery area. Laundromat a block away. Local liquor store and a theater. If your into art there are a couple art attractions in town also the garden of eden. Firepit area coming this spring!

Mid-century Lustron Retreat

Stay in an all metal "Lustron" home built in 1950! Only 1,500 of these post-war prefab homes still stand, and this one is in amazing condition. This well-designed two bedroom, one bathroom home has everything you need, retro-style. We have outfitted it with modern conveniences while keeping its original architectural features. Located near I-70, you can enjoy the beauty of Kansas from here. Drive the Post Rock Scenic Byway or go to Wilson State Park for swimming, boating, biking, or hiking.

The Mahoney House: Your House in Russell

Welcome to your house in Russell. This beautiful home, built in 1919 with original wood floors throughout, is your perfect hometown getaway. Completely renovated in 2017, it now accommodates up to 11 people in 4 bedrooms. On the historic bricks of tree-lined Kansas Street, Mahoney House is close to I-70 and 1 block from Main Street. Our shady, fully fenced back yard is a peaceful & inviting retreat. This is an ideal refuge for individuals, couples, families and groups visiting Russell.

Cozy 3-bedroom 2 bathroom house

Welcome to your cozy stay in Russell, Kansas. This house was built in 1976 by Jack and Elaine Holmes . It features a garage to park you car in during the cold Kansas winter. Often you could find Elaine baking a pies/bierocks in her large Kitchen . Great for family get togethers, couples. and jut traveling through. This residence is handicap friendly with a ramp into the residence and one floor. It features a large fenced in back yard and a attached porch. The sunsets are amazing.

Garden View Lodge

We do charge per guest. Pets are allowed but we do ask that you tell us ahead of time you are bringing them, they are not left unattended, and you clean up any messes inside and outside. This is a private 3 bedroom, sofa bed, 1 bath home all to yourselves, with a spacious yard and a separate fenced in area for your furr babies. The bathroom is set between the two middle bedrooms (Jack-n-Jill style). This is an older home and far from perfect, so it has some quirks and improvements are on the way but it does have all the creature comforts. A park across the street is super convenient for the kids to go burn off some energy.

Mainstreet Loft

Built around 1906, this loft apartment in downtown Lincoln has been fully renovated with new everything. New hardwood floors, new furniture, new kitchen, new exterior balcony, new plumbing, new wiring, new everything! Having said that, all the historic charm of this historic "post rock" limestone building have been maintained including an exposed brick wall and an original skylight along with salvaged wood and doors.

Weekend Getaway at Wilson Lake

Have fun with the whole family at this stylish, fully remodeled, spacious home. Situated on a large street with TONS of parking, plenty of sleeping areas for everyone, and close proximity to a small grocery/hardware store, park, and a couple restaurants, not to mention a shot 8-minute drive to the State Park Boat Ramp. Only 2 miles from I-70, you can get in and out VERY quickly! **Must be 25 years old to rent**

The Stodola LLC

You’ll have plenty to enjoy at this historic place located just 2.5 miles from Wilson Lake. The Stodola was originally built in 1910 as a dairy barn. (In fact, the word "stodola" means "barn" in Czech.) The Stodola LLC was established in 2023 with a full renovation of the building and the homestead. Come stay and share all the amenities that country life has to offer!
