Swiss Alp Chalet is an updated 1956 mid century modern home with views of the rolling hills of the Swiss Alp community. Easy access to US Hwy 77 to get you where you need to go to explore the area. Located 6 miles north of Schulenburg and 10 miles south of La Grange. Three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, kitchen, with living areas, our guests have plenty of room to gather with up to 10 people comfortably. During the warmer months guests can make a splash in the screened in back yard pool. Self check in.

Location! Smack dab in the middle of our bustling little town. Only 2 blocks from the famous Spoetzl Brewery, home of Shiner Beer, and 1 block to downtown. A relaxing country drive to Oma's Schnitzel Ranch in Smiley, TX (IYKYK). Listen to live polka music at the brewery from our large, covered patio or under our oak tree draped in party lights. Fully restored 1921 historic home. Only 10-15 minutes to Gonzales, Hallettsville & Yoakum. Shiner is where Texas meets "the old country". Prost, y'all!

Take it easy at Wildacres Cabin-a unique and tranquil getaway. Leave the city and traffic and view a night sky full of stars. Hike and explore all 62 acres. You might see rabbits and deer as well as beautiful wildflowers & songbirds. There are 2 ponds where you can catch small fish just be sure to bring your own fishing equipment. Enjoy yourselves at the outdoor firepit, or eat at the picnic table after you've grilled your meal on the BBQ pit. Inside there are boardgames, cards & puzzles.

Ottine Mineral Springs is 2 miles away and offers a spa experience centered around thermal mineral springs. The choice is up to you!
