Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

Miki House beautiful on Lake Como

In the City of Plesio, on a natural terrace above Lake Como at about 600 meters high, nice apartment on the ground floor of a detached house surrounded by a large garden with a lake view. The first floor is occupied by me, my husband and our three children ten, seven, and six years. The apartment is in a quiet and sunny location with a private entrance from the garden. It 's very welcoming and a living room with fireplace, two sofas and a double sofa bed, kitchen with stove with 4 burners and oven, a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds and direct access to the garden, a bathroom with shower and one with a bath tub. The garden is equipped with table, chairs, sun loungers, barbecue, children's playground and large pool. The garden and pool are shared with my family. There are also Wi-Fi, satellite TV, washing machine, cot and pram for small children. The bed linen and towels are included. Parking spaces are in the adjacent public car park. CHILDREN UP TO 2 YEARS PAY € 10 per day, notify to receive special offer The heater has an additional cost of € 25 per day THE TOWN OF PLESIO ASKS THE TAX OF € 1 PER PERSON PER NIGHT UP TO A MAXIMUM OF 7 NIGHTS ARE EXCLUDED CHILDREN UP TO 12 YEARS, AND THE CHARGE 'TO PAY BEFORE DEPARTURE At 500 meters from the apartment are three bars with newspaper stand, a supermarket, a two pizza restaurant, children's playgrounds and a sports field. The apartment is 6 km above Menaggio which is a major tourist resort with numerous bars, restaurants, pizzerias, shops, supermarket, walk along the lake, tennis courts, golf and mini golf, cinema and petrol station In the area you can hike and walk to Monte Grona, Cai at the shelter, you can visit Menaggio, Bellagio and other places on the lake, admire the gardens of Villa Carlotta and excursions by boat or by private boat. The provincial capital, Como, is 40Km and is accessible by car, bus and boat; similar distance in Lugano, Switzerland.

Ideale per rilassarsi, ascoltando il suono delle onde del lago, che lambiscono l'abitazione.
