Ideal base for visiting Leeds, York, Wetherby and Knaresborough (20 mins by car). Plus the Yorkshire Dales, East Coast / North East with excellent close public transport links to these places. Barwick has 3 country pubs, a cafe, an excellent Italian/Pizza takeaway, a newsagent, general store/post office, gift shop, ladies boutique, nearby golf course, farm shop.

The village has 3 traditional pubs. Withing 2 miles of Garforth & Crossgates which have train stations. There are lots of public footpaths from the village and a pretty dog walk opposite the house. The Bungalow is non moulting dog friendly -up to 2, but 'Never' unattended & a strict no smoking policy anywhere.
