A perfect spot to get away, relax and explore the stunning countryside right from the door. The cottage features beautiful outdoor spaces, a large stone fireplace with woodburning stove, wooden shutters, exposed beams, a fully fitted hand made kitchen, walk in rain showers and romantic roll top bath. BBQ on one of the two terraces or just relax and take in the view.

The cottage is in a superb location with top-class restaurants, the magnificent Chatsworth Estate and truly stunning local walks right on the doorstep. Bikes can be stored in the rear yard making this cottage an ideal base for foodies, cyclists and walkers alike.

The property offers a spacious lounge and conservatory looking out onto a mature garden, a well-equipped kitchen and ample driveway parking. An ideal base for exploring the Peak District, with Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, and scenic country walks. Bakewell offers a range of restaurants, cafés, traditional pubs, independent shops, supermarkets and weekly market.

The Kennels

Kick off your walking boots, wash down your bike or just park up the car, this freshly converted kennels is the place to relax for a few days. Peaceful and away from it all but close enough to explore the beauty of the Peak District and Chatsworth House. Matlock is a couple of miles away with restaurants, shops and amenities. You can start exploring from the door step; we can help with guides, directions and recommendations. The room can be configured as a luxury Super King or twin beds.

Located right under Curbar Edge, a well known climbing and walking area, immediately onto footpaths, and 4 miles from Chatsworth Estate. Also 4 miles to market town of Bakewell. Walking distance to local pub. Great road and mountain biking route.

Edge Cottage is nestled in the picturesque village of Curbar with magnificent views of Curbar Edge. This 2 bedroomed cottage has a stylish home from home feel with lots of little touches, free Wifi, free parking & a cottage garden to enjoy. Spacious cottage for 4, but can sleep 6. A great base to visit Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Castleton, Hathersage and the Hope Valley. Dog friendly, we charge an additional £30 per dog for the duration of your stay. We can accept up to 1 dog.

This cosy barn has been recently and sympathetically converted to a one bedroom, one bathroom detached annex, perfect for a weekend getaway. Chatsworth House, Bakewell, Haddon Hall and the Monsal Trail are just some of the attractions in the area. Sleeps 2+2.

We are ideally situated on the Chatsworth Estate within the Peak District, close to Chatsworth House itself, Haddon Hall, Bakewell, Eyam, Matlock, Castleton, Buxton and Sheffield.
