Cosy Coastal Cottage This cosy cottage is part of Blue Moon Cottages, three beautifully decorated cottages just 250 metres from the bayside beach at Rye on the Southern tip of the Mornington Peninsula. This character filled cottage is decorated with a subtle classic neutral theme. It is large enough to accommodate a couple or a family with an infant.The cottage is also pet friendly with an outdoor courtyard which is fully fenced and pets are welcome inside. Living: Walking into the cottage the wooden clad interior has a cosy lounge with log fire for winter stays and French doors to open up to the courtyard in summer. A leather chair and comfy sofa give the feeling of a log cabin hideaway to the room.The lounge opens further to a dining area with four chairs and a fully equipped kitchen. Sleeping: There is a large carpeted bedroom at the gable end of the cottage, beautifully decorated with hanging bedside lamps, a wrought iron Qeen bed and wall mounted TV. Bathrooms: Modern recently renovated bathroom with shower. There is a shared laundry on the Blue Moon Cottages site with washer and dryer. Heating and Cooling: Reverse Cycle Heater and Air Conditioner and additional wall heaters are in the dining and bedroom Parking: There is off street parking for one car Pet Friendly: Pets are welcome inside however as the cottage and courtyard is small we would recommend small dogs only. The fully enclosed courtyard garden has an outdoor entertaining area with a BBQ. The Sandpiper is a perfect beach retreat in both summer and winter. Your home away from home has everything you need for a relaxing holiday: Air conditioning, Flat screen TV, DVD, Wifi, Log fire, BBQ, Private courtyard garden,outdoor dining area andc car parking This is self catering accommodation and the room is not serviced on a daily basis. However, all linen, towels, basic kitchen provisions and toiletries are supplied for your arrival. It is surrounded by trees offering peace and privacy and is only a short stroll from the beach and bustling shops and cafes of Rosebud. Location 900 metres from Rosebud beach/Jetty, 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk. Take long strolls on the beach and spend quality time with your family and friends. 11 km to Peninsula Hot Springs, a 13 minute drive to a world of relaxation. 15km to Gunnamatta Ocean Beach.

Corsair Cottage, beach over the road

Classic beach house in a great spot. The beach opposite is great for kids & dogs, so bring them both. Stroll the dog beach to Queenscliff or the seaside boulevard to Point Lonsdale. Maybe you’d rather meander through the moonahs of ‘Lovers Walk’ or follow the shores of Swan Bay. Look for dolphins as you swim or snorkel, then rinse off in the outdoor shower. Enjoy a BBQ whilst the kids and dog explore the secure yard. End the day in the outside bath under the stars, listening to the ocean.

Our home is child and pet friendly, securely fenced and only a very short walking distance, (less than 5 minutes), to the beach, cinema, supermarket, cafes and Rosebud pub. . An additional living area at the back, has a second TV, a couch and bar fridge. The second bedroom is large and the queen bed can be curtained off from the single bed. Wifi, and FREE NETFLIX are available. Spacious shower, separate toilet. Baby high chair and we have a portacot. Air conditioned and with ceiling fans.

Grab a few drinks in an esky and enjoy the beautiful sunset or a peaceful morning walk along the water.

The Cottage is ideally located a short walk to Sorrento Village - restaurants, cafes, and great shopping. An easy walk to ocean and bay beaches. A great base to explore golf courses, hot springs, wineries. There are many coastal walks to enjoy. The cottage provides a lovely space in which to relax. Long weekends are a minimum 3 night booking. * We would prefer guests to be fully COVID vaccinated. My husband and I are fully vaccinated.
