The cottage has recently been modernized and equipped for self catering. A woodburner adds extra comfort on cooler nights. The King size bed has a luxurious mattress and Egyptian cotton bedding. Welcome to our serene retreat nestled in the charming town of Caerwys, North Wales. This spacious 1 bedroom cottage, plus a sofa bed in the living room provides opportunity for up to 4 people to stay. It's a perfect blend of comfort and relaxation. Our property promises a delightful experience combining modern amenities with scenic surroundings for a tranquil getaway. Travel cot available; well behaved dogs are welcome. 2 pubs, 1 serving great food and 1 showing sports within walking distance.

Our place is in the village of Rhuddlan near a 13th century church and castle, the River Clwyd, the Clwydian Hills, the beaches of Rhyl & Prestatyn, and the North Wales Expressway (A55). The peaceful, historic village has small local shops, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The modern, ground floor annex is private, with its own front door, hall, bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower and small kitchenette. It is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.

An excellent pub/restaurant, The Dinorben Arms, offers real ales and great food, just a 15 minute walk away. Convenient location for local walks on the hills, along the river or Offas Dyke path. Outdoor pursuits and many other activities are available in the Snowdonia National Park and along the beautiful North Wales Coast.

Bro Dawel is situated in a peaceful spot within the small, historic Town of Caerwys. The Town boasts a well stocked convenience store, a hair salon, beauty salon and a pharmacy. 'On The Corner' Café and the Piccadilly Inn provide fantastic food and the beer garden at The Royal Oak pub is definitely worth a visit! Only two miles from the A55 Expressway and one mile from the A541, Bro Dawel is perfectly situated to explore the beautiful countryside, coastline and castles of North Wales.
