Miller’s Rest is a self-contained one bedroom cottage with private parking and 2miles from Orton, 5 miles from Shap. The cottage is peaceful with plenty of space and all modern amenities. The bespoke kitchen is well equipped, living room has a log burner effect electric fire for those colder nights. The bedroom has an ensuite shower room and large wardrobe. There is a small stream running alongside the garden lovely for sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine, relaxing and watching the birds.

Shap Fell Bothy, Cumbria. A unique adventure!!!

A beautifully unique building in the eastern Lake District. This experience is best described as indoor camping, an adventure! Facilities are basic, but our reviews will tell you how much people have enjoyed it. The bothy is off-grid and has two floors - downstairs a cosy living area with woodburner and cooking facilities; upstairs a sleeping area with view of the night sky. Dogs welcome.
