The Red Lion pub is a short stroll away, as is the community village shop/post office. The” Cathedral in the Peak” Tideswell is just 0.6 mile away. Beautiful walks,cycling and relaxation await you from your doorstep. Chatsworth House, Hadden and Thornbridge hall, Bakewell and Buxton are all within easy reach, as is the Monsal Trail.

Perfectly located to explore the Peak District with walks from the doorstep including Cressbrook Dale. The accommodation includes a mini fully equipped kitchen area, perfect for making breakfast in bed. The Coachman’s Hideaway is a room in our home but with its own entrance.

A beautiful, recently converted barn which was originally the Groom's Cottage. Newly renovated in 2018 this one bed, one bath cottage is set in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views and direct access across the owners' fields to a footpath which leads either down to the famously picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. It is located in central Tideswell, which is a wonderful village with many pubs and restaurants in walking distance of the cottage. Sunnylea is spacious yet cosy, with two log burning stoves! In summer months you can enjoy long evenings sitting out in the pretty garden at the back of the house.

Newly renovated, this cosy yet modern cottage is located in a quiet village in the heart of the Peak District. Within walking distance of the village pub and within a short drive of beautiful Bakewell it is ideally located for you to enjoy all the Peak District has to offer. Ideally suited to couples or friends we also welcome families and allow two well behaved dogs. Check in days are Monday, Friday and Saturday, discounts on weekdays and for seven day breaks.
