Situated one block from Town Square, Rothesay Cottage consists of the front rooms of an original 1870s home, moved from Newbury by steam tractor in 1928. The overall style is a hybrid of 1870s and 1920s Art Deco to reflect its history. Your queen room boasts a stunning period bedroom suite complete with ensuite. Your snug (cosy lounge) includes the original operational Edwardian fireplace with a modern cupboard kitchenette. The front verandah has been enclosed to create a sunroom with daybed.

Blackwood "Treetops"

An almost entirely open plan house with a vast master bedroom upstairs and a bunk room downstairs, the house sleeps up to six, with a modern kitchen, wood fire, outside deck and large garden, set close by the Wombat State Forest. Suitable for children over five. Pet friendly. Blackwood 'Treetops' is also work friendly as the house has a large desk with landline and internet access. Due to the coronavirus, we are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

Only 700m from the Woodend main street you can leave the car behind to enjoy the delights of this tourist hotspot on foot or take the car to explore Hanging Rock, Mt Macedon, Daylesford and Macedon Ranges. Beautiful walks directly opposite and your own private bungalow to return to. Our cosy Bungalow is perfect for couples or a single person and we are usually ok with 1 visiting pet (if cat and dog friendly) We have a Border Collie and 2 cats so let us know if we need to keep them contained.

Mt Macedon charming country cottage (1 queen bed)

Beautiful, romantic country cottage in a stunning garden setting. Recently renovated with claw foot bath, wood fired stove, air conditioning, heating and a kitchen. Huge open plan bedroom and sitting room. Suits couple for a getaway or if you are attending a local function or wedding in the Macedon Ranges. (There is only 1 queen sized bed) Set in the heart of Mt Macedon village with the Trading Post Cafe almost next door. There is no parking provided on the property (only street parking)

Guguburra Cabin

Our atmospheric cabin sits amongst the gum trees, surrounded by birdsong. Named after the Gububurras (Kookaburras) that share the property with us, it's only ten minutes walk to the Mount Macedon village for coffee or a short drive to find wineries, village markets and forest walking trails. Alternatively in the cooler months you can curl up by the fire and read or enjoy the view from the terrace by the fire pit. The calming effect of Guruburra on our guests is almost immediately

Mac's on Mt. Macedon

Self contained 2 bedroom Guesthouse with modern comforts, set in idyllic Australian bush. Native visitors include Kangaroos, Koala & Deer often found grazing and easily viewed from inside the guesthouse. Nestled at the foot of the hill amongst several acres of open grassland and treed bush, the setting is close to Mt Macedon hotel, popular coffee hub " Trading Post", walking trails and wineries

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars in a converted horse stable. This little treasure gives you magical city, country and wildlife views. Relax and unwind.. The Stables is a second Airbnb for the property (it is located away from the other Airbnb though) and has its own privacy and unblocked views.
