Welcome to the Serenity Retreat! We are on one of the highest peaks between Wimberley and Canyon Lake. Only 3 minutes from the iconic Devil's Backbone Tavern, 16 minutes from floating the river on the Horseshoe/Whitewater Amphitheater, 20 minutes to Wimberley wine country and 25 minutes to both New Braunfels and San Marcos. Enjoy our 13 acres to explore and hike, plus farm fresh eggs depending on the season! We are located down a gravel road about 3/4 of a mile, which can be a little rough fyi.

Indoor facilities include: full kitchen with oven, pantry, 3-burner stove, refrigerator/freezer; shower, toilet and sink; bedroom with queen bed & flat-screen tv; dining area; living area with comfy sofa & flat-screen TV, DVD player, AppleTV, Radio; Wi-Fi; Air Conditioning (AC) ; Heat Pump(HP)/propane heat. Outdoor facilities include a picnic table with a beautiful field view & a charcoal grill.

This property has plenty of room and is only shared w/ up to 7 short term rentals -- 3 RV pads (each spread out for privacy) and 4 cabins. The property is also only 3 miles from the lake, 10 miles to the marina, and about 15 miles from Whitewater Amphitheatre! There is also a shared pool on the property for when you need a lake break!.
