The 17th century Garden Studio is a unique, self contained stone cottage with a king sized bedroom, full kitchen/diner upstairs and cosy lounge, with wood burning stove, and spacious bathroom downstairs. The medieval village of Cartmel is a 15 minute walk away, via public footpath through the surrounding fields or country lanes. Famous for its 12th century Priory, 2 Michelin starred restaurants & delicious sticky toffee pudding. The Edwardian town of Grange is a 5 minute drive with plenty of amenities and a lovely promenade walk. The southern end of Lake Windermere is a 12 minute drive.
