Orchard cottage Welshpool powys

Welcome to Orchard cottage, a single storey building, annexed to ( but separate from ) our house. The cottage is furnished to a high standard. We are situated on the outskirts of a private residential area, just 400 metres from the centre of the historic market town of Welshpool, there are various shops, supermarkets, pubs & restaurants. The magnificent Powis castle is a short walk from the town centre, through the beautiful parkland. Other attractions include Montgomery canal & light railway.

The Summerhouse sits 250m from Offa's Dyke Path with access to miles of walks, ideal for anyone wanting to explore Shropshire and mid-Wales. It is a charming Grade 2 listed building, with commanding views of the Severn Valley to Montgomery. Recently refurbished - the top floor has a comfortable super-king double bed, beneath a Victorian vaulted wooden ceiling and a cosy sitting area with QLED TV and super fast fibre broadband. Wisteria Cottage is a self-contained private cottage in a quiet rural setting with countryside views, surrounded by nature. Newly refurbished with shabby-chic country inspired interior. Private WiFi, TV's both floors & super-king bed. Close to market towns of Shrewsbury & Oswestry, both 10 miles/15 minutes drive away. Private parking, central heating, 1-2 bedrooms, lounge, large fully equipped kitchen/dining area/family room. Main bedroom upstairs, two single beds in downstairs bedroom.

Red House Cottage (self catering cottage)

Modern, very comfortable and very clean. Sleeps 4, double ensuite room and double/twin room also ensuite. Outside area, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. In a quiet village setting with two pubs serving food within a two minutes walk of the cottage. Free wifi, smart TV’s in bedrooms. Until recently Red House Cottage was run as a B&B but the owners decided to fit a kitchen to create a self contained cottage for self catering holidays. The cottage is on the side of our home.

Our handcrafted en-suite wooden cabin is located within a small wood on the grounds of working sheep farm with an uninterrupted view across the valley in picturesque Shropshire. It has everything you need to retreat from the real world, whether it's for a cosy night in, in front of the log burner or a chance to sit and stargaze on the deck. There is an abundance of walks right from your doorstep, you're even lucky enough to have the Offas Dyke within a stones throw from the Cabin.
