The Studio is in the perfect location for visiting the beautiful city of Durham. Located just a few minutes walk from the railway station, the bus station and the restaurants, shops and bars of the city centre. You will have your own entrances front and rear. Inside you'll find a comfy king size bed, en-suite shower and toilet and a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities; toaster; toasted sandwich maker and a portable dual plug-in hob. Wifi, Sky TV Cinema & Sports.

Waterside Annex w/Hot Tub and Sauna

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This granny flat annex is attached to the main farmhouse of Waterside Equestrian. It has its own entrance from a joining hallway which is often occupied by the two farm yard German shepherd dogs. So if your not do friendly or are alarmed then this isn’t for you. The dogs provide safety and security to the entire farm and your annex which is a lovely little one bedroom with a double and single bed on the first floor and ground floor living space.

Barley Hill guest annex, Northumberland.

The annex is a self contained guest suite providing comfortable accommodation (accessed through our house). Comprising a light double room with en suite WC, living area, kitchenette (mini fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, no hob/oven) and dining space. There is a private garden with table, chairs & BBQ. The shower room is across the corridor from the annex in the main house and you will have exclusive use. The house is located in the North Pennines, a short distance from Derwent Reservoir.

A tranquil garden retreat in a beautiful village

Our cottage is in a quiet corner of a pretty village. Views over the garden and nearby fields extend to the cathedral. Walks directly from here go through beautiful woods across fields to reach the river Wear. The local pub 400 yards away provides excellent affordable meals but is popular, so be sure to book. Teesdale, Raby, Auckland Castle, Beamish museum and the coast are only a drive away. Durham with its cathedral and castle are 10 minutes drive, supermarkets and leisure centre 5 minutes.

Pet-friendly, self contained, calm.

IMPORTANT: roadworks elsewhere can occasionally cause additional traffic to pass the flat during peak times until October, but it is lovely and quiet here during the night. Cathedral, castle or Oriental museum? Durham’s world heritage sites are just a short drive or bus ride away. Kitchenette, washer/drier, fast wi-fi, Netflix etc, car parking. Close to walks through woodland (5 minutes away), a trip into Durham (4 miles) or Newcastle (20 miles). Pets welcome. Supermarket 5 mins walk away.

In the heart of the North of England you will find our accommodation set within an area of outstanding natural beauty. The rooms we offer have been designed with the explorer in mind, to use a base to explore the local surrounding area, the Lake District, Northumberland and Durham. We have had guests walking the Isaacs Tea Trail as well as cyclists doing the C2C. After a long day exploring the local area return to refresh yourself in our spacious bathroom complete with underfloor heating.

A recently renovated quirky Studio (sleeps 2) within the The Old Post Office, a Georgian stone built cottage in a quiet area tucked away on High Green in Gainford Village, 2 mins walk through the old Churchyard down to the River Tees. Popular with cyclists & walkers, the Market Towns of Barnard Castle & Darlington only 8 miles away, North Yorkshire Dales a 20 minute drive. Entrance accessible at all time via key safe. Hosts live on the property. No smoking 1 small dog allowed £35/sty

Greta Road- a little self contained gem

Greta Road is a self contained guest annex with private access and off road parking only a five minute walk from the picturesque Village Green and High street with its numerous bars, restaurants and shops. The accommodation has its own off road parking and access through a private patio area and attached porch into the ground floor fully self contained living area. The stairs lead up to a spacious bedroom with extensive wardrobes and cupboards and a fully equipped bathroom

The Oaks

The Oaks is attached to our home. It has its own private entrance from the outside and internal doors are locked. It is an ensuite room set out like a hotel room. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OUR FAMILY HOME AND IS NOT SUITED FOR A ROMANTIC/ PASSIONATE NIGHT AWAY BUT FOR GUESTS WANTING A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.. Wooden stairs lead up to this first floor bedroom that has its own decked area with outside furniture to enjoy the fantastic views.

Layfield Lodge

This modern yet cosy self contained open plan annexe is perfect if you want to enjoy what Yarm has to offer. It’s a short 0.4 mile walk to the heart of the high street which is filled with boutique shops, restaurants, cafes & bars – it’s easy to see why it was named the winner of the 2020 Rising Star award at the Great British High Street Awards. Plenty of off-street secure parking also available at the property.

Dunelm Studio, Durham City

Comfortable studio apartment for two. In great location a pleasant 10 minute walk, via the riverside from the historic city centre, with its many attractions and numerous options for shopping and entertainment. Could accommodate baby if necessary and I will provide travel cot and high chair if required at no extra cost. However, guests must provide own bedding and other requirements for baby feeding etc.
