Welcome to our newly decorated cottage- We hope you like it!The cottage is right on the footpath to the beach and a perfect spot for accessing all Croyde has to offer. There is also a sunny courtyard with a bbq for you sit out and enjoy the evening after a busy day on the beach. We have free parking for one car and happy to welcome your dog too. There's a wetroom for board and wetsuit storage and shower for washing off sand. Light the firepit and watch the sunset with a glass of something cold.

This quaint detached barn is full of character and peace (no WIFI). There is an open plan kitchen/living area with a cosy log burner ( logs available at £7 cash a net) and a slate topped breakfast bar. The property has solid oak flooring throughout except for slate in the bathroom so don’t forget your slippers! The kitchen includes an oven, hob, fridge-freezer, toaster, microwave and kettle. Skirr Cottage was the home of the acclaimed writer Henry Williamson who is best known as the author of Tarka the Otter. With its pretty whitewashed exterior the cottage is set next to a trickling stream next to the historic Norman church of St. George in the heart of Georgeham village. Putsborough surfing beach is a 25 minute walk via fields or via a lane. or 5 minute drive. The Kings Arms and 17th century Rock Inn serving gastro pub food are 1 minute and a 4 minute walk away.
