Croeso (welcome) to North Wales, Gilfach is a cosy 1 bedroom self-contained annex situated 2 miles from the market town Dolgellau in the footfalls of Cader Idris mountain in the Snowdonia National Park. Created just for two we hope you enjoy your home away from home while you’re visiting the beautiful mountains. We are ideally located for mountain walking, mountain biking at Coed Y Brenin, beach days at Barmouth & Fairbourne and outdoor thrill activities at many attractions including Zip World.

Forget your worries in this recently refurbished, spacious and peaceful apartment. Easy access to mountains, hills, lakes, rivers, castles, the coastline & the Mach Loop, Dolgellau is truly the 'gateway to Snowdonia' and this apartment would ideally suit hikers, bikers, history lovers and watersports enthusiasts. Unfortunately, we cannot yet accommodate pets and as we have only one double bed, the accommodation suits adults. As a first floor apartment the stairs may be difficult for some guests.

Ideal base for walkers, cyclists, sight-seers & photographers. Cross Foxes Hotel 1 mile. Snowdon Pen y Pass car park just over 1 hour. Zip World Forest just under 1 hour.

Hidden deep within the Dyfi Forest on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park is our unique, off grid cabin. With amazing views over the valley, you can just sit back and enjoy the natural world around you. If mountain biking is your thing, we are right on the Climachx Mountain Bike Trails and a stones throw from Dyfi Bike Park. There's lush river swimming spots, lakes, waterfalls and mountains to explore. Our nearest beach is Aberdyfi, just 30mins away. 16mins drive to the epic Cadair Idris!

Erw Fair. Perfect for Couples, Log-fired Hot Tub

Nestled at the foot of Cader Idris overlooking the beautiful Mawddach estuary, Erw Fair is perfectly located for exploring southern Eryri (Snowdonia National Park. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms (one king, en suite and one twin) and would be perfect for couples looking for a quiet retreat. The cottage is within walking distance of the Mawddach Trail perfect for exploring this beautiful corner of North Wales. Barmouth is also 2.5 miles walk across the famous Barmouth Bridge.

Sŵn-y-Dŵr is located in the Snowdonia National Park and occupies a tranquil position in the historic market town of Dolgellau, renowned for its breathtaking views and scenic walks in the foothills of Cader Idris. The former coach house stands in private mature grounds, and is approached via a gated entrance and a sweeping gravel drive ascending to the property. It is a self contained first floor apartment, accessed via external steps to the rear of the building, that dates back to 1780.

Unique timber cabin looking out onto fields and mountains. Tastefully decorated and new in 2023. Wood-burner, covered veranda, Wi-fi and Netflix, one bedroom, bathroom with shower and double basins, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Walks right from the door, private and not overlooked, Mach Loop in the same valley. Pub within walking distance (roughly 20 mins, sensible footwear recommended). Not suitable for those with limited ability. Sorry no dogs.

Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.

Caban Terwyn, in the foothills of Aran Fawddwy, offers a secluded getaway for couples. We invite you to experience luxury glamping on our farmland within the breath-taking valley of Cwm Cywarch. The local pub and shop are a mere 2 miles away. The pod is a perfect base to explore Snowdonia. With no wifi or mobile signal guests can switch off completely, relax and enjoy this amazing countryside and being close to nature.
