In the apartment you will find: - 1 big living room with a comfortable sofa, armchair, big working/dining table and a TV, overlooking the rooftops of Ghent - 1 fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, water boiler, dishwasher, fridge, French press and coffee grinder - 1 bedroom for 2 people (king size bed) overlooking the main street - 1 smaller bedroom with a box spring bed for 2 people and a desk - 1 bathroom with a bathtub and a standing shower - separate toilet - utility room with a washing machine, drying machine, ironing board, iron and a drying rack The apartment is equipped with a high-speed Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with a shampoo, conditioner, make up remover, body lotion and various other hygienic products. Please take note, that the apartment is not suited for young children (say under the age of 5) since we are not equipped for this and also the furniture is not adjusted (glass coffee table for example). The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with no elevator. The apartment is very close to both public buses and trams. You will find the nearest tram station, Vogelmarkt (tram line 2), just around the corner, and the nearest bus station, Gent Zuid (most bus lines), a couple of streets away. A friend or I will welcome you and provide you with keys and a tour of the apartment. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at all! The flat is nestled in a traffic-free street a short walk away from the very centre of the city, close to charming shops, hip bars, amazing restaurants and historical sights. Burgstraat 17 is an old Patrician house constructed in 1515. Later the house was split in 2 houses and became neglected for many years. In 2019 we started the renovation, with as only purpose, to keep the soul and respect the history and grandeur of the original house. Its exceptional history, unique architecture and central position made it worth doing so. Tears, joy and a lot of work resulted in the place where you are right now. A beautiful apartment in the middle of the centre of Ghent. The studio has luxurious and stylish furniture, and a big outdoor terrace with a table and seats. This terrace is right next to the river De Leie which crosses the city. We’ll supply you with fresh bed linens, towels, kitchen towels, a few rolls of toilet paper, soaps and shampoo. We also provide some Dash washing machine pods, some teabags and Nespresso cups for a small price to make your stay even more relaxing.

Hidden gem nearby the 13th century Turrepoort city gate of Ghent. The three floors small house is located in a very quiet car-free alley within 300m of the historic city centre. This house is not suitable for people with less mobility due to an alternating tread stair to the bathroom and bedroom. As the house has all amenities such as full kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, working desk,... it's an ideal stay for longer period as well as for a shorter city trip.
