The Wee Cottage by the Ferry

Our fully refurbished Wee Cottage offers incredible views over the River Clyde. Only 30 minutes from Glasgow and seconds from the ferry to Dunoon & Argyll highlands, you can spot seals & porpoises while you watch the sun set. There's a double bedroom upstairs and comfortable double sofa bed in the living room, fully equipped kitchen, free private parking, and we include a wee breakfast as well. It is a mile from Loch Fyne & seconds from the walkers entrance to Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park/Argyll Forest & on the edge of "Argyll's Secret Coast" & the Kyles of Bute National Scenic Area & ideal for walkers, nature/outdoor lovers, cyclists, writers, painters or a restorative retreat. It has a wood burner, solar panels & 100% renewable power.

The Anchorage, Family Friendly,Views, plus Kayaks

The Anchorage, Arrochar, was built circa 1913 and has been newly upgraded in December 2019 giving the cottage a luxurious interior with gas central heating and beautiful wood burning stove. Two ensuites and a beautiful bathroom provides guests with plenty of room whilst the large garden with pizza oven and BBQ has amazing views where guests can relax on the decking or seek shade in the lean to. Everyone can use the fire pit, games room or play area to keep occupied or use the Kayaks provided.

Leac Na Sith, a cottage on the beach

Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Luss village is just a short 5 minute walk with renowned places to eat and drink, the unique island of Inchmurrin is just a quick boat trip away. Property has 1 super king size bed, open plan fully kitted kitchen/ living room, smart tv, log burner, Wifi, underfloor heating, shower, bath, washing machine, linen, towels.

An Tuiric is the perfect country getaway nestled in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. There are plenty of amazing walks right on your doorstep including Loch Achray (amazing ice cream at Achray Farm in the summer season!), Three Lochs drive, Lendrick Hill and Glen Finglas Dam. Callander is 10 mins drive, with great shops and historic Roman Camp. Or head west for a breathtaking drive past Loch Katrine, and over the Dukes pass and stunning scenery to Aberfoyle and Go Ape!

Sitting in its own garden, Yewtree offers more than just an Airbnb experience. It's an opportunity to get outside and enjoy Argyll, learn something new or just do your own thing. It's a cosy little base - which we hope you'll enjoy calling home while you visit Argyll.​

Loch Lomond is just a ten-minute drive away. Inside, you’ll find super-fast fibre broadband, a full kitchen, TV and modern central heating for year-round comfort. We live nearby and are happy to help with local tips, or leave you to relax and enjoy a peaceful break in our lovely town 🏡

Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
