Welcome to our newly renovated, family-run annexe nestled just minutes from the shores of Lake Coniston in the heart of the southern Lake District. Our peaceful retreat sleeps up to four guests, making it the perfect base for couples, families, or friends looking to explore the National Park. We’re only 100 yards down the road from The Red Lion, serving homemade food and proper Cumbrian ales. You're just a 5-minute drive or a 45-minute walk from lake Coniston and a 20 minute drive to Coniston.

The cottage enjoys delightful views across the unspoilt Crake Valley and up towards the Coniston Fells. Lake District hot spots such as Coniston, Hawkshead & Ambleside are just a short drive away. Coniston Water is easily accessible and offers many hidden spots to picnic on the lake shore, launch a canoe or wild swim.

Built in 2012, our slate and stone camping barns boast 6 single beds on the first floor. The ground floor space includes a dining area, kitchen area which includes a microwave, kettle, toaster, small fridge and a single electric hot plate. and a ground floor wet room. Bedding, towels, cutlery, crockery are all provided. Outside are stunning views, a picnic area and public footpaths through the farm. Breakfast is not provided can be requested at an additional cost.
