Take a break and unwind at this peaceful seaside cottage in the village of Barmston. Wonderfully located with sandy beach walks and countryside right on your doorstep. This well equipped and comfortable cosy cottage has a wood burning stove, Wifi and smart TV and is tastefully furnished with comfy beds to ensure your stay is relaxing and refreshing. Within walking distance is a dog friendly pub with many other pubs, restaurants and an array of attractions and activities within a short drive.

The house is close by the sea a 10 minutes walk east on the bridalpath. A 20 mins walk in to the town to explore cafes/bars & local independent shops, Mere, Museum, Honeysuckle Farm all well worth a visit. With other near by places to visit in land and on the East coast. The cottage is a Grade II listed barn conversion offering a welcoming base for your stay. Heating is provided by a biomass boiler, so very eco friendly. There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.
